A unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the secrets of natural perfumery in a format never seen before. From the recognition of the plant in its wild state, through the extraction of its essence and the production of raw materials, to the final formulation of the perfume in the incomparable setting of a regenerative agriculture and organic production farm located in the middle of a beautiful Area of Natural Interest (Serra de l’Albera). To do this we have two people with proven experience and international recognition in the field of niche perfumery, both founders of two enormously disruptive brands: Marina Barcenilla (MB Perfumes and her AtomArom project) and Ernesto Collado (Bravanariz). With them, we will take a journey from the depths of the Earth’s subsoil and the smell of its bacterial life to the mineral notes of Jupiter or black holes.
These two atypical perfumers will accompany you at all times during the process and will live with you during these days to turn this workshop-retreat into an authentic learning and enrichment experience, not only on an academic level but also on an experiential level.
We will also have the collaboration of Marc Arumí, beekeeper and CEO of Abellaires Empordanesos, who will reveal to us the best kept secrets of these little environmental heroines that are bees, without a doubt, the best natural perfumers on the planet. They, the plants and the landscape will also be our teachers in these intense days of learning. And finally, Clara Canyigueral and Neus Ferrer will be responsible for designing and preparing the delicious menus that will turn your stay at Mas Flaquer into an authentic feast of the senses.

What’s included?
-3 nights accommodation in shared rooms (from Thursday afternoon to Sunday) in case you take the accommodation option.

-Observation of stars and planets

-For those of you who do not come by car, we will organize shuttles from the AVE station in Figueres Vilafant and from Girona Airport to Mas Flaquer to pick you up and take you back.

Meeting point:
We will meet directly at Mas Flaquer, a beautiful Masia in the middle of the Albera Natural Park. You will receive the location when you sign up for the experience.If you need us to pick you up from the station in Figueras, we will organize various trips during the afternoon of the 12th so that you can arrive without problems. The same to leave you at the end of the course.
When we start:We will meet on Thursday, September 12, starting at 5 p.m. The workshop will end on Sunday, September 15 after lunch.
What you need:
Lots of curiosity and good spirits. We provide everything else (pruning shears, baskets, gloves, beekeeper suits, laboratory equipment, high quality raw materials, food, drinks, books, inspiring ideas…). Of course, a notebook, a pen and a magnifying glass wouldn’t hurt.
